Jace AI Review: The Email Assistant That Writes Like You

Jace AI Review: The Email Assistant That Writes Like You - How much time do you spend on emails every day? If you're like me, it's a lot. And you can try everything. You can try filters. You can try flagging, zero inbox strategies. But I still find myself spending way too much time sitting down to respond to emails. I wanted to find an alternative to responding to emails every single day.

Introducing Jace AI: The Email Assistant

And so I tried out Jace AI just to see how it can handle changing my email flow, drafting emails for you in your voice 24/7, and making it something that you're actually able to send by using what you've sent in the past.

So the picture that I have in my mind is sitting down, opening up my inbox, and finding that all of my emails are all ready to be replied to, and all I have to do is hit send. And then it basically just functions as a personal assistant.

Features:

Feature 1: Learns Your Writing Style

The first feature that I want to highlight is that it actually learns your writing style. So, when you connect Jace AI to your email, it analyzes your email history to figure out your tone and your voice. Do you typically keep it short? Do you use casual phrases or formal greetings? How do you normally sign off? Things like that.

And from what I've seen, it's actually really good at picking up those patterns. It actually does a pretty good job of creating a profile or a persona and then applying that to your emails.

Feature 2: Auto-Drafted Replies (Even When Offline)

The second feature I want to highlight is the pre-drafts or creating email drafts for you even when you're offline. This is the part that blew me away. I open up my email, I find that these emails are already drafted and they weren't cookie-cutter templates.

Like it wasn't just something that they took from an email that I sent previously and they just moved it over. Or it was actual, like, organic written things. They were personalized replies that I would actually be able to send out.

And you might be wondering, does it autodraft something and auto-send anything? Jace AI does not send anything on your behalf. You have to actually go in and send it yourself. So, while these autodrafts exist, you don't actually have—it does—you don't have to worry about them sending it to somebody prematurely without you realizing that you've sent something.

Feature 3: Pulls in Context Automatically

The third big feature that I actually think is really cool is it pulls in context. So, we talked about how it pulls in context from your email—it will go and analyze your writing style to create your tone. And Jace AI can pull in information from outside sources.

So, if it's something where somebody says, "Hey, do you have that latest"—as an example, if somebody says, "Do you have that latest blog post?" or "Do you have that latest press release?"—if it's something that's on the internet or if it's something that Jace AI can find, it will pull it into your draft and actually create a link that will be, you know, if you send out the email, that will be included in the email saying, "Yeah, you know, here's the information you were looking for," and it attaches the information for you.

So context in your email, yes, is important. Context where it actually pulls information from the internet, I think, is also huge. This only works if it pulls information—obviously, contextually it can only pull information from public sources—not necessarily, it's not going to go through your internal company SharePoint and find all the information from that, you know, tool.

But it's able to find anything public-facing. So if it's a public source or if it's public information, you can pull it into your email and then use it that way.

Feature 4: Custom Rules for Email Handling

The fourth big feature that I think is cool to highlight is customizable rules. Basically, this is where you teach the AI how to reply to emails. Not just that it should. You can set up rules based on things like who's the email's from, what the subject says, or even the keywords in the body.

But you can also set up really cool rules like always CCing my manager if it's about client X, or don’t draft replies to newsletter emails, or mark anything with the word “urgent” for immediate review.

So, it takes a little time to kind of figure out what rules you want, but the flexibility is really cool because you can figure out, okay, how do I want to interact with this tool? You know, take 10 minutes and say, what are the rules that I want to apply to Jace AI to help kind of streamline your workflow and make it easier in the long run.

Feature 5: Integrates with Gmail, Notion & Slack

The fifth cool feature is the integration. So, Jace AI will interact with or integrate with Gmail, Notion, and Slack. And while it's cool because it does have—it has like that API insight into the tools that you're already using—it does integrate with a lot of different tools. And one of the most popular integrations is probably with Gmail where you can do it on your web browser or on your phone.

Feature 6: Auto-Organizes and Labels Emails

The sixth big feature is it organizes and labels emails automatically. What's cool is that Jace AI actually—it categorizes and tags your emails for you. I had my own system of how I used to tag emails, but now the system does it for me.

And so it's able to track information, or it's able to pull information and say the context of the conversation or the context of the person, and then say, "Okay, this person needs immediate reply," or, "This is something that maybe you don't need to deal with right now." And it also will group things like newsletters or non-urgent emails, and it'll group them together in different folders.

Pricing Breakdown: Plus vs Pro Plans

Plus Plan:

The Plus model is $17.50 a month, which comes with AI agents that draft your emails in unique styles. All the basic features that we talked about—that have your tone of voice, that have your email, that will be able to understand the context online, offline—all that stuff. Automate your inbox with intelligent rules, stay on top of your day with daily briefings—all of that stuff.

Pro Plan:

If you want to upgrade, you can go to the Pro plan, which as of now is $45.50 a month. The difference between the Plus and the Pro plan is that you get three times the limit of emails and readability and all that stuff that you get on the Plus plan, you get on the Pro plan. So, you just get expanded usage.

Is It Worth It? My Honest Review

Okay, so my experience with Jace AI—do I think you should try it out? Absolutely. It's a 7-day free trial. It saved—in the week that I used it—it does keep the promise of saving one or two hours a day on email responses, which I also think is just crazy. And it didn't sacrifice the quality of the response just for speed.

So I think, yes, everyone should try this tool for sure. And I think if it's as much of a game changer for you as it was for me, I think it's worth paying even $17.50 a month to have a more streamlined, get-that-time-back, and not spend so much time responding to emails.

Who Jace AI Is Best For

And if you're someone that deals specifically—I think the people that this would work for is if you receive a lot of inbound emails or a lot of client communications—like if you're on the sort of customer support or, like, what comes to my mind is like an advertising agency—like if you're the receiving person that receives a lot of the customer emails or client emails, I think that is the perfect way to use this tool.

I think there's a lot more benefit to it, but to me, it's kind of—if you're on the receiving end of receiving those emails, it's really, really nice to be able to have the draft ready and then be able to just send it out as quickly as possible.
